This Feature & Follow is hosted by two hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Q: Summer Break is upon us! What would be the perfect vacation spot for you to catch up on your reading & relax?
A: I have never been to Scotland, but if I could make a wish to go anywhere in the world to catch up on my reading, I would probably pick somewhere there. There are a few gorgeous places I found that I pinned to one of my boards on Pinterest: Beautiful Places I'd Like to Visit. Below is one of them. I mean, who wouldn't want to snuggle up with a good mystery here? (In case you're wondering, it's Eilean Donan Castle.) I live near beaches so something green and cloudy just has romance and books written all over it.
Where would be the perfect spot for you to get away from it all and read, read, read?

I went to Europe in high school on a french trip. Scotland was the last stop of a 6 countries in 12 days tour. It was by far my favorite but I kept falling asleep because I was 16 and had been running for 12 days straight. I've always wanted to go back.

Scotland is absolutely on my "must visit" list, especially with all the books featuring the country that have come out of late. That picture is amazing.

ReplyDeleteMy answer for a vacation spot for reading is in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. When in Paris, it's art museums and restaurants for this mme. Hope you get to these beautiful European destinations in the near future.

Oh my goodness... YES!! I would LOVE to go to Scotland, it's actually second after Ireland for me (the opposite of you hehe) It's gorgeous there. I'm hoping in the semi near future I can get the boyfriend to got with me to Ireland, Scotland, England etc. haha.
